MSUM’s photography style evokes a connection to our audiences. We strive for images that capture moments and perspectives that reflect our promise of collaboration, opportunity, learning and real-world education. Our photography resources primarily support the communication channels that reach external audiences. We will do our best to meet photography requests, but priority is placed on projects that are intended for a specific use and that impact a broader and larger university audience.
If you need a headshot for the online directory, please send an email to email@example.com to schedule an appointment. An appointment for a headshot should only take a couple of minutes.
We are located in the lower level of Weld Hall room 13. If no one is in the studio, please go down the hall to Ande Sailer’s office 7B.
To schedule a photographer for a campus event, send an email containing the event date, time, location and account number to firstname.lastname@example.org. Events are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis and depend on availability of a photographer. Please try to schedule one to two weeks prior to your event to avoid any conflicts.
Not all significant events or photo opportunities occur on campus. Please consider the following if you are an amateur photographer taking a photo for a university project.
All images provided for university promotion should be high quality to allow for resizing and cropping for maximum visual impact. Images should have a minimum size of 3000x2400 ppi (pixels per inch), the rough equivalent of a 7-megapixel file.
We do not use photos taken by cell phones or photos downloaded from the Web.
