Did you know about the new "Popular Reading" area? How far back do we have the New York Times? What's up on the 4th floor, anyway? Where's the best place to study? Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members, sign up for a tour of the library. Tours will meet on the hour at the Circulation Desk.

Cite This! Citing Sources Using APA and MLA Style
Having trouble figuring out what to indent, where to put the period, where the publication date goes? When do you need to cite a source, and when do you not? What are the standard elements of a References/Works Cited? How do you give credit to a source from the Internet? All will be revealed in this hands-on workshop.. Cite This! will meet in the LIT Center, LI 222.

Searching: Shortcuts and Tricks
Sick of searching the Internet using Yahoo or Google, which are
good search engines, but still getting a lot of information you don't
want? Come to this workshop to learn why many searches don't give you
what you want and learn specific techniques and strategies to make your
searches more productive for you -- to save time. This
workshop will meet in the LIT Center, LI 222.
