The LIT Center is equipped with:
All workstations are connected to various MSUM campus network databases, including the WebPALS Online Catalog, WebPALS Periodicals Databases, many periodicals databases, and Internet access using Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer.
Priority Use
The primary use for this room is for library instruction and instructional technology training for Minnesota State University Moorhead students, faculty, and staff. Priority use is for instruction relating to library resources and instructional technology training - specifically requiring hands-on access to electronic resources.
When the LIT Center is not in use for library instruction or instructional technology training, we reserve the right to ask LIT Center users for their current MSUM or Tri-College identification card.
The LIT Center will be open for student's computing needs, when not in use for library instruction or instructional technology training, during the following hours during Fall, Spring, and Summer Sessions.. The LIT Center is closed during campus holidays and breaks:
Mon. - Thurs. -- 7:30 am - 11:45 pm
Fri. -- 7:30 am - 4:45 pm
Sat. -- 1:00 pm - 4:45 pm
Sun. -- 1:30 pm - 11:45 pm
For Reference assistance (e.g., research, information needs, or questions regarding WebPALS or other library databases), students may inquire at the Reference Desk (1st floor, Library). We will not provide support for technical computer questions (i.e., word processing, hardware or software questions, spreadsheets, etc.). For technical computer assistance, go to LI 202, 203, or 204, in the Computer Center. A lab assistant should be on duty during the following hours: Mon-Thurs. 12-11 p.m.; Fri. 12-5 p.m.; Sun. 5-11 p.m. **

All sessions are to be taught only during times the Library is open.
