Who may use this service?
 

This service is intended for the faculty, students, and staff of Minnesota State University Moorhead and the Tri-College University.  These requests will be handled first, within 48 hours.  Requests from community or other outside users will be handled in a timely manner.  If you are not affiliated with MSUM or the Tri-College, please consider consulting your local public library or another service like the Internet Public Library or Ask an Expert.

 

What can this service be used for?


The primary goals of this service are to support the information and research needs of the faculty, students, and staff of Minnesota State University Moorhead and the Tri-College University and to educate our users in the best methods to retrieve information and acquire knowledge.

 

Use this service to ask any question you might ask at the Library's Reference Desk:  help with an incomplete bibliographic citation, identification of facts, biographical information, a quotation.  Inappropriate requests include asking the librarian to research topics, forwarding messages to other staff members, submitting interlibrary loan requests, or obtaining books for patrons.

If you need to have your question answered more quickly, or would like to speak directly with a Librarian,
please call the Reference Desk at (218) 477-2345. 

Librarians are on duty during Fall and Spring Semesters
Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.;
on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.;
on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.;
and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

During break and intersession days, Librarians are on-call
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The Library is closed weekends.

During Summer Sessions I and II, Librarians are available
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Librarians are not available on weekends.
