The Library Instruction/Instructional Technology (LIT) Center is a hands-on, electronic classroom funded by a MnSCU Electronic Academy Initiative Grant, as well as a MSUM Strategic Initiatives Grant. Located on the second floor of Livingston Lord Library, Room 222, the LIT Center accommodates 40 students (two per workstation). The LIT Center is equipped with:
All workstations have Zip-drives and are connected to various Moorhead State University campus network databases, including the WebPALS Online Catalog, WebPALS Periodicals Databases, all other library databases, and Internet access using Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer. Microsoft Office products, along with other software, are also loaded on the 26 machines.
The LIT Center is for use of Tri-College students, faculty, and staff. You may be asked to present your Tri-College identification card. Please consult the LIT Center Policy Statement for more details.
