Ron is a good looking guy, but Duchess was even cuter!   We had a decoy spread set up on a pond at the edge of a pasture (no livestock present).  Things can get a bit boring when the ducks aren't flying, and Duchess crawled into Ron's lap to get off the cold, damp ground (October 1999).  Chickadee (in the background) stayed in the blind and watched the sky.  There's no doubt in my mind.  The Indian Summer, bluebird days of Fall are the best time of year for all sorts of reasons.
