The Morelet's crocodile is also called an alligator, an agarei, brown crocodile or swamp crocodile.  That's one good reason why critters have scientific names.  There's only one Crocodylus moreleti.  I love the interplay in this photo between the croc, the vegetation, and the reflections in the water.  This enclosure in the Belize Zoo was built with the assistance of the British army.  Years ago, the zoo's lady croc, Sally, left home for a while to find a mate, and then came back and built a nest for her eggs.
