Rajiv Kalra, Ph.D., CFA, CFP is a professor of finance in the School of Business.  He has been with Minnesota State University Moorhead since 1989.  His wife, Seema, is a teacher at Fargo South High School.  Kalras have two daughters. Nidhi, the older daughter, graduated in computer science from Cornell University  in 2002.  She completed her Ph.D. in robotics at the Carnegie Mellon University in 2007.  She works as a researcher at the Rand Corporation.  Anita, the younger daughter completed  her biomedical engineering degree in 2007 at Franklin F. Olin College of Engineering, Boston.  She started her law program at the Columbia University Law School in Fall of 2007

Dr. Kalra has over 13 years of experience in international trade and finance.  He works closely with several U.S. and international finance and securities organizations in their training and certification programs.  He also assists individuals and organizations in developing their investment policies and implementing and monitoring their investment strategies.  Dr. Kalra has presented and published several academic and professional papers.

Dr. Kalra is the sole-member/governor of Camelot Cleaners that operates four dry cleaning stores and plants in Fargo/Moorhead area.  Camelot has annual revenue of about $1 million and has about 25 employees.
