Thanks to all who helped with MSU's celebration

Thanks to all who participated in Moorhead State University's 25th annual celebration of the Fourth of July. You made the day a memorable one. The students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends of MSU were pleased to be your hosts. You came in record numbers to delight in the beauty of the day and the campus, to celebrate with your neighbors and friends, to listen to live music, to see spectacular fireworks, and to enjoy good food and activities. It was fun.

MSU is proud of its hometown. We worked hard to provide for you a wonderful celebration. We had help, too. Strong support came for Moorhead (thanks to Mayor Morris Lanning, the City Council, and city employees), generous donations of cash to help pay for the fireworks came from area service clubs and veterans organizations, and generous donations of goods and services came from area merchants. Angie Cameron guided the preparations; members of the MSU family donated hours of work. To all who helped, a hearty thank you.

Staging the celebration is a major undertaking. MSU is proud to serve the people of this region. It is our purpose to contribute significantly to the high quality of life we enjoy in the Valley. See you next year.
