Accessing Course Software on the Macintosh Server
 

Mass Communications and Technology Students
 Some faculty from the Mass Communications and Technology departments require their students to "access" files on the Mac server. You will need to determine the Course login and password; then follow the instructions below.
 

  1. At the Login screen, select Guest and click Login
    (If computer is already logged in, Select Special, Logout to return to login screen, then login as Guest)
     
  • On menu bar select Go> Connect to Server
  • Enter mhdmac
  • Click Connect
  • Login with information given by your instructor
  • Click Connect
  • Click OK --- Please DO NOT check the box next to sharepoint
     
  1. This will put the shared volume (folder) on the desktop
     
  2. Be sure to disconnect from server before you leave the computer
