Mass Communications -- FR 241,  245, 247, 249, 252, 254/9, 258 & MA 260

The Frick Hall labs are primarily used for Mass Communications classes. When no class is scheduled, some of the labs  are open for general use when not in use as a classroom.

 

  • FR 241, the Campus News Video Editing Lab, contains 18 Macintosh computers and a laser printer. This lab is available for general use when no class is scheduled.  Software link.

 

  • FR 245, the Campus News Studio, is a Macintosh Lab with 4 computers. This lab is restricted to use by Mass Comm department  and students.

 

  • FR 247, the Digital Printing Lab, is a Macintosh Lab with 2 computers. This lab is restricted to use by Mass Comm department and students.
     
  • FR 249, the Desktop Publishing Lab, contains 33 Macintosh computers, 2 scanning stations, and a laser printer.  This lab is available for general use when no class is scheduled.  Software link.
     
  • FR 252, the Photography Lab, has 27 Macintosh computers, two scanning stations, and a laser printer. This lab is available for general use when no class is scheduled.  Software link.

 

  • FR 254/9, the PR Campaign Lab, has  5 Macintosh computers. This lab is restricted to use by Mass Comm department and students.

 

  • FR 256, the Ad Club Lab, is a Macintosh Lab with 5 computers. This lab is restricted to use by Mass Comm department and students.
     
  • FR 258, the Online Writing Lab, has 23 Macintosh computers, two scanning stations, and a laser printer. This lab is available for general use when no class is scheduled. Software link.

 

  • MA  260, the Mass Comm Forum Lab, is a Macintosh lab with 4 computers and a laser printer.

 

 

 

 
 


Note: All networked lab computers have virus software running in the background to help control virus damage to campus computers and student diskettes.
