For Your Information – No Action is required
As we continue to battle
spam and phishing attacks, we continue to tune in our technical filters to
help reduce the number of inappropriate emails, but we also need to better
inform all of you when the filters detect potential spam.
To that
end, we have just installed another email filter. You will start to see some
information tagged to both the subject line AND the body of the email. The
information we have added is meant to better inform you when particular
emails could be a phishing or spam attack. Keep in mind,
not every tagged email is an attack,
so you need to review the sender and reply to information so you can
determine if the email is legitimate.
We have setup 3 Types of message tagging:
Type 1:
Suspected Spam with Warning Filter

Type 2:
Spam Filter –
Note that [Spam] has been added to the Subject line only, indicating that
the message appears to be spam. Review the contents carefully.

Type 3:
Suspected Spam
Filter – Note that [Suspected Spam] has been added to the Subject line
only, indicating that the message is suspected to be spam. Review the
contents carefully.

Again, if you don't know who is sending to you,
and/or you aren't expecting an email from that sender, then simply delete
it.
