IRB Training
Training Requirements for Members of the University IRB
All IRB members are required to complete an Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) approved on-line training course and submit their certificate of training to the chair of the University IRB within thirty-days of being appointed to the committee. The training program is available at U.S. National Institutes of Health National Cancer Institute
IRB members are encouraged to pursue additional training through videotape and IRB sponsored workshops.
