IRB Training
Training Requirements for Department Review Committee (DRC) Members
DRC members are required to complete an Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) approved on-line training course and submit their certificate of training to the chair of the University IRB within thirty-days of being appointed to the department committee. The training program is available at U.S. National Institutes of Health National Cancer Institute
DRC members are encouraged to pursue additional training through videotape and IRB sponsored workshops.
