Undergraduate/Exchange Application Form
Undergraduate Application Procedures
All undergraduate international students must submit the following information to be considered for admission:
- Completed Application
- $20 Application Fee payable in US dollars
- TOEFL score of 500 or better on paper-based test, 173 or better on computer test or 61 or better on the IBT, OR evidence of successful completion of ELS Language Centers level 112, OR official IELTS score of 5.5 or better
- All Official Secondary or College Transcripts: Students must provide Minnesota State University, Moorhead academic records of every secondary and post-secondary institution he/she has attended. Records must be certified true copies or notarized photo copies.
- Financial Statement and supporting Bank Statements or letters from bank verifying funds
- and Transfer Form for students transferring from an U.S. institution only

Graduate Application Procedures
All Graduate international students must submit the following information to be considered for admission:
- Completed application form
- $20 application fee payable in US dollars
- TOEFL score of 550 or better on paper-based test, 213 or better on computer test or 79 or better on the IBT, OR evidence of successful completion of ELS Language Centers level 112, OR official IELTS score of 6.5 or better. A TOEFL score of 570(paper-based) or 230 (computer-based) is required to be considered for admission to the Speech-Language Pathology graduate Program.
- Original transcripts in original language and certified English copies. International students who have been accepted to Minnesota State University Moorhead who wish to transfer credit from colleges or universities outside the United States must provide Minnesota State University Moorhead with a course-by-course evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. www.ECE.org. The costs of the evaluation will be paid by the student. This process should be started as soon as the student receives his or her visa. If a student has already completed a course-by-course evaluation from another National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) member, he or she can submit this evaluation to the Records Office.
- Financial statement listing the availability of adequate monetary support for the duration of graduate study and a certified bank statement. The current requirement is at least U.S. $18,000 per year.
- and Transfer form must be completed for students transferring from an U.S. institution only.

** All international graduate students must purchase the University health insurance. No exceptions will be made.
