One for One Student Exchange

The exchange program between Moorhead State and Nagoya Gakuin University started in 1999. Students with one year college level Japanese studies are eligible to apply. This is a 10-month intensive Japanese study program.

All exchange programs are intensive language language studies. Some culture classes in English are available. If your Japanese proficiency is great, you can take ordinary college classes with Japanese students.

GPA requirements are 2.8 and above.

School begins in September until early February. There is a break between Dec. 20 and January 7. The semester ends at the beginning of February. Another semester begins in April and lasts until July 20. Selection of students begins early in February.
