The MSUM-Keele Exchange programs is a one-for-one student exchange, which makes this program affordable. The exchange is for one semester or a full academic year, earning up to 32 credits which can be applied toward a major, minor, or elective requirements. Participation in the program will be recorded on the student's transcript.
A wide variety of programs are offered at Keele University, so requirements at MSUM are able to be fulfilled while abroad.

The Campus
Keele's campus estate is one of the exceptional features of the University, and is integral to the quality of experience enjoyed by students, staff and visitors alike.
A one hundred acre area of the estate, adjacent to Keele Hall, has designated conservation status confirmed by Newcastle Borough Council. Many architectural and landscape features dating from 19th century are of regional significance.
Student Accommodations
Finding accommodations that are both affordable and convenient is easy at Keele. The University has Residence Halls and Flats (apartments) on campus, University Houses, Private Accommodations, Accommodations for Students with Families, and Accommodations for Students with Disabilities.

Keele is a residential university with a large number of students living on campus in purpose-built accommodations. In addition, the university owns a large number of properties in the surrounding areas for students to live in.

Single students from overseas or those traveling to Keele alone are given priority of single-study bedrooms.

Accommodations with families can be found in the local area, but may be expensive. The accommodation office at Keele can assist in this process.

Application Process
Students should be at least sophomore standing when considering application and with a minimum GPA of 2.75. Two faculty recommendations are needed, along with a general study abroad application, transcript, and advisor signature.

This budget is based on the Spring 2008 semester. As tuition rises each year, the program fee will also rise. This budget is based on an exchange rate of $1.85 = 1 British Pound. Fluctuations in the exchange rate may later this budget. Personal expenses will fluctuate based upon personal spending habits. This budget is an estimate only.
