Student Teaching Abroad

ISEP: The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is a reciprocal exchange or direct enrollment program. Students pay tuition, fees, room, board, and a program fee at MSUM and can exchange places with an overseas student from any of 300 different institutions in 42 foreign countries. Semester and year-long placements are available. Application deadline is January 15 for study in the fall and August 15 for study in the spring. Requires a 2.75 GPA or higher. "This program is currently on hiatus, but students may access the program through NDSU. For further information, check with our office."

Summer Tours: Every year there are various summer tours arranged by professors. In the past there have been tours to Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Italy, China , Costa Rica, Mexico, Kenya and many more.

Other Providers: You can choose to study abroad through one of the many outside study abroad providers.  Requirements vary by program and agency.  Summer, winter, semester and year-long programs available to all parts of the globe.  More information.

Direct Enrollment:  If there is a specific school overseas you'd like to attend, you may be able to apply directly to that school as an international study-abroad student.  Eligibility, requirements, deadlines and costs vary by school.  For help with the application process, stop by the Office of International Programs.
