The Moorhead State University Library is established and maintained primarily for the use of the students and faculty of the university. However, under the PALS agreement on universal recognition, patrons of other PALS libraries also have use and borrowing privileges.
Members of the general public of post-high school age, whose special needs may require use of the university?s collections, are invited to inquire about special borrowing privileges. High school age students, under the Tri-College agreement, may also under special circumstances have borrowing privileges.
All persons are welcome to use the library for research and study within the building. Persons of all ages are expected to conduct themselves with propriety and respect for the rights of others in order to retain their use privileges. Unaccompanied, pre-high school aged children may be asked to leave the library if being disruptive. All persons leaving the library may be asked to subject their belongings to inspection for properly charged library materials.
