IMAGES:

Students have the ability to link to images when creating a student homepage or discussion posting by using the html editor. The images may be linked either from an external location, i.e.  or from their personal locker or their homepage file space.

To use the HTML editor on a student homepage, click on the Edit icon (edit icon).

Clicking on Insert Image (insert image) opens an new window to enter an internet address. To link to an external image, enter the address and click Insert.

If you have uploaded an image to your D2L homepage space, or as a public file in your locker, you may link directly to the file. It is first necessary to open the image in a new window by right-clicking (control-click on Mac) on the image name and selecting Open Link in New Window. Copy the address in the new window and paste it into the "URL" field. Finish by clicking Insert.
