Student Homepages
My Page is your personal webpage
within the course. This is not the same as a personal homepage on the World Wide
Web. It is a simple utility that allows you create a page which identifies
yourself to your classmates. It typically contains
some text, graphics, and some favorite links to sites on the web.
To access this area:

- Click on My Page
- Click on New

- Enter a name in the file box, i.e. homepage and click
create
- DO NOT use characters in the
filename, i.e. ' / % :

- Your file is saved but does not contain any data

- Click on the paper/pencil icon far right side
and a page editor opens. Enter text,
images, links, etc. Click save when you are done

- Now you are back at the My Page and you need
to tell D2L that this is your homepage
- Click on the little house icon which is "make this my homepage"

the image in a new window by right-clicking (control-click on Mac)
on the image name and selecting Open Link in New Window. Copy
the address in the new window and paste it into the "URL" field.
