Why can't I log in?
Make sure that you are spelling your username and
password correctly. Once you have an account set up, go
ahead and log in.
- Click on the Username
field and enter your username:
(Your 8 digit MSUM ID number)
- Click on the Password
field and enter your password: Birthdate (yymmdd).
Your password is Case
Sensitive so check to make sure you do not have Caps
Lock enabled.
- If your birthdate
does not work, then the last 6 digits of
your SSN should be used.
- If
you have previously logged in, your password
is one that YOU selected.
Click here to have D2L send you your
password.
- Anyone signing on
will be required to change their initial
password.
Enter the current
password in the top dialogue box.
Enter a new password of YOUR choice into the
next 2 boxes.
The course that I signed up for is not showing up
on my Home Page, why not?
- The class may not be using
Desire2Learn. It may be a classroom only course.
Check with your instructor.
- If you
have just registered or enrolled you may not be
added to the D2L course site for a day or two.
- Is there a
plus sign + to click? That will reveal courses
that are "collapsed" under a Semester or Department
heading
