Tips:
Notice the navigation bar across the top of the screen. Click on Content to see the materials for the course. The other links on the navigation bar will also be useful -- Discussions allows you to communicate with the class and with your group, Grades allows you to see your current list of grades for the course, and the Dropbox will be used to hand in assignments.
To find out if others in this class are currently online, click on the CLASSLIST in the upper navigation area. Anyone with a dot to the left of their name is currently online. If you click on their name, you can type a message or question for them.
The person that receives the page will see a GREEN BUTTON light up in the upper right corner of their screen. If they click it, they will see your message and they can respond. NOTE: These messages are NOT sending an email to anyone -- recipients need to click on the green button in D2L to get the message.
It's a nice way to share information with others that are online at the same time as you are.
