Designing/Delivering A Hybrid-Delivered or Online Course at MSUM

If you decide to create a hybrid-delivered or online course, there is a TEAM of people available at MSUM to help you. You will not be expected to learn all the technical aspects of creating online course materials. Here is a summary of some of the services/support available for MSUM faculty.

Support Available

• Instructional Design: Rhonda Ficek and Barb Hoppe have assisted with the design and implementation of many of MSUM's online and hybrid-delivered courses. We can assist by discussing your course with you, looking at how it is currently delivered, and offering suggestions about how to meet your course objectives with alternative delivery techniques. In addition to providing online handouts, lecture outlines, and other course materials, courses that encourage students to interact with one another and the instructor are particularly effective.
