Summer school housing is provided by session only. Costs/week are show only to display full interim charges.
1st Interim is 2.5 weeks (May 9-May 27); 2nd Interim lasts 1.5 weeks (August 8-17). Interim fees may apply only if you choose to continuously live on campus from May 10 through the summer.
Continuing residents who are contracted to live on campus Fall 08 and who make full payment in advance of each summer session receive a discounted interim rate of $10/week (or $25 for 1st interim and $15 for 2nd interim). Full interim fee costs will be added back in if the fall 08 contract is cancelled or terminated (cost/week for Interim A weeks).
Continuing residents who are NOT contracted for Fall 08 or do not make full payment in advance of each session will pay the Interim A rate.
Students desiring shorter term housing for 1-2 week portion of the session may contract for our Workshop/Summer Conference Housing Program at a student rate of $105/week, double or $140/week, single occupancy.
Full payment is due when you check in.
A fee of $25 will be charge for any microfridge left dirty and/or not defrosted.
For Summer Only residents, interim fees will be charged by the week with payment due in advance (see Interim B weeks rates).
If your financial aid will not be disbursed until a later date and your aid is enough to cover all of your tuition, fees and housing charges, you may apply for an emergency loan at the Business Office (x2054) in order to take advantage of this offer before check-in on Saturday, May 10th.
Payment may be completed by any of the following methods:
If you rely on Financial Aid to pay for your summer housing, you may want to contact their office now to ensure that housing costs will be covered. Deferments are available only with written verification from the Financial Aid Office. Check with staff in the Financial Aid Office to see how this affects your aid package. All deferments will result in paying for the interim period in full. Again, this may be avoided through applying for an emergency loan to have cash in hand on the day of check-in.
Important Check-In Dates/Procedures:
Summer housing check-in for continuing residents will begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 10th at the Grantham Desk. Be sure to have payment ready and in hand. Rooms will be assigned at the time of check-in.
