If you meet the automatic requirements for the Honors Program, you will receive a letter of invitation upon admission to the university. However, we recognize that excellence can be demonstrated in multiple ways. Students who have not met these requirements but feel they would be successful Honors students should email a writing sample and letter of interest to honors@mnstate.edu.
A 3.3 overall GPA is required to remain in the Honors Program.
