Oral History Categories

The Heritage Education Commission's Oral History Collection is held at the Northwest Minnesota Historical Center in the Minnesota State University Moorhead Archives. The Northwest Minnesota Historical Center, established in 1972, is affiliated with the Minnesota Historical Society. Its mission is to preserve information on the history and culture of the Red River Valley, including records on settlement, agriculture, government, business, folklore, and ethnic heritage of the region.  The staff of the Archives will assist all patrons in finding information from the collections and records of the Northwest Minnesota Historical Center.
