Kicks off New Season
The Bagg Bonanza Historical Farm at Mooreton, North Dakota kicks off its annual season on Memorial weekend. Doors open at 12:00 pm and close at 5:00 pm, all weekend long and on Memorial Day. There will be Tours, Country Store Treasures and a Concession stand available all three days.
The Farm will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 PM for the rest of the summer or by appointment any other time.
On July 4, we open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm. At 12:00 noon, the entertainment will be the blue grass band of the Tickwoods. At 1:00 pm, the comedian, Jeanette Holm, the Hat Lady, will get the crowd going. At 2:00 pm, the Larry Tritten Trio of Country Music and finally at 3:00 pm, the every popular Albert Mikesh band will close out he afternoon. Jeff Salveson, the Magician will stroll the gorunds and do magic and balloon sculpturing all afternoon. We'll have games for the kids, and a Pie and Ice Cream Social along with dinners in the Concession. The Country Store will be open for our guests to purchase a variety of North Dakota products and, of course, we will conduct guided tours all day long.
On Labor Day weekend, the festivities begin on Saturday with the Harvest Hands Supper on Saturday September 4. There will be two seatings at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Reservations required. On Sunday September 5, we have an Antique Tractor Pull which begins with weigh in on the Farm at 10:00 am. The Pull begins at 1:00 pm. Finally on Labor Day at 12:00 noon, the Ceremonial Indian Dancersin full costume will perform. At 1:00 pm, the Granary Girls will keep your toes a tapping with greate music. That at 2:00 pm, Greg Brooks will show off his American Bald Eagle and horned Owl and you will learn about their existence in captivity. Finalll at 3:00 pm, the Steve Worner Due will bring down the day with his country music. Tours, Country Store and Concessions will be available all three days.
Gate fee is $3:50 for Adults, $2.50 for children under 12 and children under 6 are free. Group tours are $3.00 and may make appointments for those by calling 701-642-2411.
