Moving Email Address Books
and Bookmarks
1) Open the Address Book on your current computer.
2) Click on the desired address book in the Address
Books pane.
3) Select Tools, Export from the menu bar.
(In older versions it may be File, Export.)
4) In the Save In: box
select the location of your removable media.
5) Enter something you'll recognize (MyName) in the File Name:
box.
6) Click Save.
When you get to the other computer open the email address book and…
1) Insert the removable media with your address book into the drive.
2) Select the desired address book in the Directory window.
3) Select Tools, Import from the menu bar.
(In older versions it may be File, Import.)
5) Select Address Books and click Next.
6) Select Test file (LDIF, .tab, .csv, .txt) and click Next.
7) Locate the removable media and select the MyName.ldif file.
8) Click Open.
9) Click Finish.
1) Insert your removable media into the computer
2) Open your browser that contains your bookmarks
3) Select Bookmarks> Organize Bookmarks from the menu
bar.
4) Select File>Export from the Bookmark Manager menu
bar.
5) Locate the removable media and click Save.
When you get to the other computer insert your removable media and…
1) Open the browser where you want to use the bookmarks.
2) Select Bookmarks> Organize Bookmarks from the menu
bar.
3) Select File>Import from the Bookmark Manager menu
bar.
4) Select From File and click Next.
5) Locate the removable media and select the bookmark file.
5) Click Open.
