I have my calendar set for alarms, but they don't go off. Is it my setup or my hearing? You likely don't have Notify running. To enable it from within Calendar, click Tools > Options. Double-click Environment. Click the General tab and check the box to the left of the Launch Notify at Startup option. Click OK. Click Close. Restart your computer to activate. To customize the Alarm sound, right-click the Notify (globe) icon in the System Tray. Select Options and click the Alarms tab. Click the folder icon next to the Play Sound box and select any sound file (.wav) on your computer. How do I give others access to my calendar? DELETE A USER FROM YOUR ACCESS LIST You can select All User Access in the Access List to assign a default set of rights to all users in the Address Book. For example, if you want all users to have rights to read your mail, you would assign Read rights to All User Access.
How do I see my co-workers' calendars? They gave me access but their names don't show up in my Multi-User Calendar list. To view others in your Multi-User Calendar once they give you access rights, you must add them to your multi-user calendar list before you can see them.
How do I make Calendar come up automatically when I start GroupWise? You can change GroupWise settings so that Calendar opens automatically when you start GroupWise as follows:
Now when you open GroupWise, you will be sent directly to the Calendar feature.
Is there any easy method to set repeating day events in GroupWise like we did in Netscape Calendar? Actually, using the Notes feature of GroupWise will allow you to do essentially the same thing.
In order to access the Tools > Options feature (and several others), you must be logged into the account not acting as proxy. In other words, when you want make changes to the dean's calendar, you'll need to be at the dean's desk.
I notice some calendars are color-coded and looking really good. How can we do this for our office? To change/set the color of categories:
