B. I would prefer to have more quizzes during the middle /end of the week as opposed to on Mondays.

B. The amount of reading assigned sometimes became impossible.

C. Yes, he’s tough but you learn a lot.

A. The subject and the choice of texts, I had never read any of them before.

B. The short time, papers due within one week, while we had to read a lot. I probably would have liked taking it during a regular semester.

A. discussing the text in class and the way video performances were incorporated as well.

A. I liked the videos and text choices.

B. the length of the last paper is a little long. Maybe 6 pages? or give the extra week before that instead of the bibliography-

C. Not unless they are an English major. If they are, then yes.

D. Perhaps decrease the profanity a little, the f-bomb came up a little too often. But altogether a good course!

B. Sometimes it was too much reading for one night. Critical Readings were NOT interesting.

A. I liked that he looked at the female perspective. Few of my male professors have done this well.

B. I got burned out at the end. Maybe they could have the class span Both summer sessions so it’s not everyday.

A. I liked reading the plays & going over details & ideas in class that would never occur to me just reading it by myself.

B. Explicating passages. It is hard and I know it is a valuable skill but I do not enjoy it.

C. Absolutely and I hope myself to be able to take other classes from him in the future.

D. Overall it was a great course and he is an excellent instructor. He really knows his stuff and was available whenever needed for assistance which was nice.

                                                                                                                                                                                   

A. We discussed plays less commonly taught. I’m really glad we didn’t study Romeo & Juliet or Hamlet.

B. A lot of subject material to cover for a summer course.

10) Wish there was a bit more variety. Felt I was reading pretty much a similar plot all the time almost predictable.

10) I’m glad the class wasn’t just comedies or Tragedies.

11) I’m not afraid of Shakespeare after taking this class and I can actually understand critical articles  when I read them.

                                                                                                                                                                                   

10) Very good. It was very well done for a summer course and lonely having five weeks.

11) It was an excellent class but very hard. 10) It was nice to read Shakespeare plays that aren’t frequently taught in middle/high school (I’m so sick of analyzing & studying Romeo & Juliet).

11) I won’t be taking any future Engl. classes but I would recommend Hamrick to other students. I wish I would’ve taken the class during the reg. school year to allow more time for all the reading & be able to discuss the plays more at length.
