A. I liked that we covered a wide range of material and put it in historical perspective.

B. It really challenged me, but that isn’t bad I guess.

A. Professor Hamrick’s immense knowledge of the subject matter.

B. It’s hard to follow along, sometimes.

A. The teaching was very, very informative. It gave us a better understanding of the material, and was interesting to learn.

B. Mostly the length of the course itself T TH 12-1:40.

A. The last play where we were able to slow down and get a better understand of the way the concepts we’ve been learning actually work applied to a text.

B. So much to cover in so little time.

C. Yes, if they enjoy a challenge.

A. I like that I am more comfortable with Shakespeare’s work. I don’t find it to be as intimidating as I did when I first walked in.

B. I would liked to have different activities in class, like small group discussions, etc., rather than just the same format every time.

C. Yes.

D. I would prefer that Prof. Hamrick would not use obscenities. I especially don’t think that the “F” word is appropriate language for a professor / role model to use. Also, if you tell your students not to put their feet up on the chairs you shouldn’t do it either. (Remember, you are a role model for us.)

                                                                                                                                                                                   

A. The extra-curricular of seeing the play was the best. It brought a frame of reference for me to relate to as the text.

B. Guest speakers could have been nice. Bring Carollo in for example to elaborate on postcolonial critism for a day would have brought new perspective on the voice of the ?

C. Yes. Dr. Hamrick is very qualified and engages in life long learning.

D. Bring in a cultural anthropologist guest speaker and involvement wish other professors could create elaboration. This happens more at private universities though MSUM does this ? of the classroom.
