International Students
- The non-refundable fee for international students who are first-time applicants to U.S. $20.00.
- Completed Financial Statement listing the availability of adequate monetary support for the duration of graduate study and a certified bank letter. The current requirement is at least U.S. $18,500.00 per year.
- Official TOEFL® examination score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 78-80 (internet-based) or more must be provided by those whose native language is not English as evidence of competency in the English language. A TOEFL® score of 570 (paper-based), 230 (computer-based) is required to be considered for admission to the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program.
- Official transcripts from all post secondary institutions attended.
- Post-secondary transcripts from universities outside the United States must be evaluated to determine course transfer. MSUM requires a comprehensive course-by-course transcript evaluation be done by Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. www.ece.org
The cost of the evaluation will be paid by the student., - Transcripts from universities within the United States may be send directly from the university attended to the Graduate Studies Office at MSUM.
- International students must purchase the University health insurance. No exceptions will be made.
- Transfer form must be submitted if student is currently enrolled in an American university.
Please note that the Master of Liberal Arts (MLA) program does not accept applications from international students at this time because it is a part-time program. In order to maintain visa status, international students must be full-time students (eight credits).
