Graduate Special Students

Admission

Post-baccalaureate students desiring to take courses for graduate credit but not seeking admission to a Master’s program may enroll as Graduate Special students. Students may attend indefinitely in this status, but should admission to a program be desired at a later date, the student must submit a new application and meet all admission criteria. Credits earned in Graduate Special Status which might later be used to fulfill minimum requirements in a degree program cannot exceed 8 semester hours for the Master’s degree. International students are not eligible for Graduate Special status. Graduate Special students are not eligible for financial aid.  Students denied admission may not register as Graduate Special students.
