Licensure Questions?

Minnesota:   http://education.state.mn.us   (Go to Educator Licensing)see also specific Minnesota licensure rules

Interns:  Interns may be licensed under an Internship license if the intern is not the "psychologist of record."  If the intern is hired in a regular position for which there is no licensed person available, the intern may be licensed under a "Limited license."   Please work closely with your hiring district in seeking licensure in these cases.

North Dakota:  http://www.dpi.state.nd.us/espb

Interns:  In North Dakota, interns work under a "letter of approval" from the Dept. of Public Instruction (DPI) Office of Special Education.  To obtain the appropriate approval, contact Jean Newborg, Assistant Director of Special Education  at 701-328-2277.
