The Ultimate Golf Challenge

The Peter's Cup Invitational Ultimate Golf Challenge is an annual event hosted and organized by Randy Otto. The first annual event which was held in May, 2005 was a smashing success, and essentially included 4 events. The morning began with 9 holes of regular golf (crooked stick, white ball, etc.) played both alone and randomly partnered up with another person. This was immediately followed by speed golf. (best time was around 35 min. for 9 holes) Speed golf has been removed from this years challenge due to lacluster participation levels and whiners in 2005. (See rules and regulations for more information) The first 18 holes of golf were succeeded by a hearty lunch, and unfortunately a rain delay. The rain was heavy, but passed quickly and luckily began before we were out on the course. Rain is also very good at removing the 8-somes that often (clog) play at "The Tunnel". The third event was 18 holes of disc golf at "The Tunnel" disc golf course in Kensington Metro Park, and finally we finished with 18 holes of Miniature Golf at "The Putting Edge".
Each event has an individual winner and the person who does overall best throughout each event wins the Peter's Cup (see photo above), is allowed to display the Peter's Cup among their most prized posessions and has his/her name engraved on the Peter's Cup to be immortalized forever.
We are proud to announce the 2005 event winners:
Champion: John Gdowski
Regular Golf:
Speed Golf: Adam Goyt
Disc Golf:
Miniature Golf: John Gdowski
Here are a few pictures from 2005. The lovely Aletha Lippay deserves much credit for her hard work as the historian of the 2005 Peter's Cup Invitational. We are happy to say that she will be back in full force this year. Rules and regulations for the Ultimate Golf Challenge 2006.
