To perform well in any of your social work courses, attendance is crucial. And because you are becoming human service professionals, attendance is expected. Indeed, students who do not attend classes do not master requisite practice knowledge and skills needed for licensing and subsequent professional practice. Further, professionals who routinely miss work, appointments, and assignment deadlines do not remain employed! Thus, attendance is monitored as part of each student's formative evaluation while in this class as well as the School of Social Work!
