MSUM Challenge Course
As part of FYE, students get the opportunity to participate in a challenge course, also known as a ropes course. The purpose of the challenge course is to help students get to know fellow FYE classmates, to develop trust in one another, and to gain an understanding of one's self.
The Challenge course consists of several rope elements and team-building activities, all lead by trained facilitators. In addition to developing friendships, the challenge course provides students with the opportunity to visit the MSUM Regional Science Center. This educational extension of MSUM is located near the Buffalo River State Park.
