Linda Houts-Smith, Languages and Cultures
Dr. Houts-Smith is the coordinator of the TESL programs and is the project director for the TEAM Work grant. She teaches several of the courses in the TESL program, as well.
Brian G. Smith, School of Teaching and Learning
Dr. Smith is the assessment director for the TEAM Work grant and teaches the assessment class at the graduate level in the TESL program.
John Hall, Languages and Cultures
Dr. Hall is a Spanish professor and teaches the undergraduate methods and materials courses for both the Spanish Education and the TESL undergraduate minor program.
Elizabeth Kirchoff, English
Dr. Kirchoff is a professor of English education and teaches the ENGL 365 Language and Learning class required of both English education and TESL undergraduate students
Richard Adler, Dean of Graduate Studies, Associate Dean of Education and Human Services
As Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Adler is involved in the admissions process for applicants to the graduate certificate in TESL. He also specializes in psycholinguistics and has guest lectured in TESL classes.
SuEllen Shaw, English
Dr. Shaw is director of the Write Site, the writing center at MSUM. She has at times taught the ENGL 365 class, and has experience in tutoring ESL students in writing.
Cecelia Mafla-Bustamante, Languages and Cultures
Dr. Mafla-Bustamante is a Spanish professor with a background in linguistics and TESL
Kim Crowley, University of North Dakota, English
Ms. Crowley is the director of the writing center at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She has taught the ENGL 365 course at MSUM and will teach the TESL 625 course in the summer of 2008.
