Candidate Information 

Theme: The FUTURE

Mr. & Ms. MSUM is an annual pageant held as a fundraiser for Delta Zeta sorority and their philanthropies.  All funds raised go to charity. The cost for each nominee is $10.00 and can be paid at the Office of Student Activities or the Dragon Entertainment Group offices.

What can you expect as a Mr. or Ms. MSUM nominee?

• The pageant is intended to be silly and fun thus interview questions, talent etc. are not expected to be serious in nature.
• There are various sections to the event.
  
• Talent competition: you are expected to have a talent to share with the judges and audience.  Past competitions have included talents such as making toast, signing, dancing, poetry reading and Saturday Night Live skits.
• Interview question: The interview question will be asked by one of the MC's or judges. Topics will vary widely so be prepared for anything
• MSUM apparel: You will be judged on your school spirit as it is reflected by your MSUM gear.  You will wear your MSUM clothing during the interview question portion of the program.
• Formal wear: Your formal wear should reflect the theme which is The FUTURE.  However you choose to portray the theme is up to you but please keep it appropriate. 

The event begins at 7pm and as a candidate you are expected to meet at the Ballroom at 6pm.  A changing room space will be available.
