MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Department of Environmental Health & Safety is to provide prompt, informed and professional service to the MSUM community within the areas of environmental affairs, health related issues, and safety concerns while improving the quality of our work and educational atmosphere.
- Minnesota State University Moorhead is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment. Regard for the safety of the general public, students, and employees is of the utmost concern at all levels of the organization.
- Safety does not occur by chance. No job, activity, or course of academic study is so important and no request so urgent that one cannot take time to perform that function safely and in compliance with overall environmental regulation. All members of the University committee must accept responsibility in maintaining safety and occupational health.
