College of Education & Human Services

The Concept

MSUM graduate licensure courses provide a convenient, cost-effective path for professionals with backgrounds in mathematics and science to become classroom teachers. Education core courses are 100% online. Methods courses in mathematics and science are offered in hybrid format, with online assignments and 3 Saturday on-campus meetings (6-8 hours each). 12 weeks' student teaching can be arranged in a school district of the student's choice, with on-site supervision provided by MSUM.
