Responsibilities of a Supervisor
- Develop and maintain job descriptions
- Stress confidentiality and obtain FERPA signatures annually
- Conduct a student job orientation
- Complete written student employee evaluations
- Share your department's mission, goals, objectives, function, etc.
- Inform the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid of changes in the job posting or job description.
- Make copies of the student's class and work schedules to make sure students do not work during scheduled class time.
- Inform the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid if you believe the student's enrollment has dropped below 6 credits if hired and paid with work study funds.
