International Students

Working on campus:

You must hold an F-1 or J-1 visa (students who are in the process of changing their visas to F-1 or J-1 are not eligible to work until the change of status has been processed!) You must be in-status (if you are out of status, you are not eligible to work until you have been reinstated.) You must not work more than 20 hours a week during school nor more than 40 hours per week during vacation breaks and summer.

Working off campus:

You must be an F-1 or J-1 student. You MUST obtain prior permission from the International Student Advisor. You MUST be in-status for at least one academic year Refer to International Student Services for more information.
