"HELP SUPPORT THE DRAGONS!"
Saturday, April 22, 2006

Alex Nemzek Stadium
We live in a competitive world. Dragon athletes deserve a level playing field. That’s why we’ll walk on Saturday, April 22.
Our Dragon women and men compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. They do it with a fourth of the allowable scholarships for their conference. We can help them by walking.
The Dragon Fire Walk for Athletics will demonstrate support to the surrounding community, as walkers and their sponsors raise scholarship opportunities. It’s as easy as putting one foot in front of the other, but it will take a lot of feet.
Help Dragon athletes step up the ladder to success. Help yourself, too. Walking is good for you!

Thousands of small steps by the friends of Dragon Athletics will add up to one giant step for the program!
The Dragon Fire Walk is not a test of endurance—it’s an enjoyable way to demonstrate support for student athletes and raise money for scholarships.
Imagine a half-hour walk in the springtime air.
Imagine all the good you can do for the community’s only remaining Division II athletic program.
