Getting Involved
There are a number of ways to get involved with DragonFest at MSU Moorhead.
Student Organizations
Student Organizations can participate in DragonFest by having an information table during the event. Organizations will need to reserve their space with the Office of Student Activities by September 7, 2007. Contact the Office of Student Activities at 477-2790 or Becky Boyle Jones at boyle@mnstate.edu.
Students
The DragonFest planning team would love your help with this event . If you own a business this is a great chance for promotion at the start of the school year. Please contact Becky Boyle Jones, at boyle@mnstate.edu or 477-2524.
Artists
Display and sell your handmade art and crafts at DragonFest. If interested, please contact Becky Boyle Jones at Minnesota State University Moorhead, 477-2524 or boyle@mnstate.edu.
Volunteers
Volunteers are critical to making this event happen. Here are shifts you can sign up for:
Set-Up: 10 volunteers for each hour are needed from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Event Helpers: 3 volunteers for each hour are needed from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Clean-Up: 10 volunteers for each hour are needed from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Faculty or Staff Members
Faculty and Staff can participate in DragonFest by attending events, having a departmental talbe or volunteering to assist with the planning committee. Please contact Becky Boyle Jones for more information.
Community Organizations
Not for Profit and Volunteer organizations and religious groups can participate by having an informational table during the event. This is a great way to reach thousands of MSUM students in a few short hours. If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact Becky Boyle Jones at boyle@mnstate.edu or at 477-2524. Businesses
Businesses can participate in DragonFest by donating prizes for the event, having an informational table at the event or having a vending booth. If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact Becky Boyle Jones at boyle@mnstate.edu or at 477-2524. All DragonFest events are open to all MSUM students, faculty and staff. Please support our campus community by participating in any or all events.
