An
ONLINE graduate certificate program in Teaching and Learning with
Technology is available at
Minnesota State University Moorhead.
The
program consists of 9 to
11 two-credit courses, at both the undergraduate and graduate
levels, which will be taught by professors from many different
departments at MSUM.
All
courses are delivered online,
using a combination of activities involving CD-ROM materials, Web-based
instructional materials, and hands-on computer experiences.
This will
provide participants with the skills, ideas, and abilities to allow
them to utilize technology effectively in the teaching environment.
Educators
will tailor their assignments to deal with technology and
instruction appropriate to either a grade level or school level
(elementary, middle, high). Participants
will learn to address regional and national technology teaching
standards.
Students
may enroll in classes as electives for current degree programs, for
professional enrichment only, or may apply for enrollment in the
certificate program. Students
who have been accepted into the certificate program will receive
preference for enrollment in classes.
