The Disability Resource Center (DRC) provides courtesy services to students with temporary health conditions arising from injury, surgery, or short-term medical conditions. For example, a student who breaks a hand or wrist is often accommodated through a scribe for exams and a note taker for class.

To receive assistance for a temporary health condition, the student must submit a doctor's note to our office indicating the type of condition, limitations, prognosis, and estimated duration. Additionally, the student should contact all instructors to discuss means of completing class requirements and exams during the period of the condition.

To find out more information about services for temporary conditions or to schedule an appointment, contact our office at 218.477.4318.
