Evidence-Based Practice: Environmental Cues and Modifications Used in Special Care Units to Enhance the Quality of Life for Residents with Dementia

This lecture documents various environmental cues and modification utilized in local dementia special care units. Through descriptive statistical analysis, the cues and modifications supported in the research literature for use with individual with dementia were compared with those currently used in the local facilities.

A View of Women Administrators in Higher Education

Women have faced barriers and obstacles in becoming administrators and maintaining administrative positions in higher education. This lecture will focus on obstacles and achievements women have faced, historical views, and interviews with six female higher education administrators from the Red River Valley.
