    Welcome to the College of Social and Natural Sciences. The college consists of eleven departments with outstanding faculty and excellent programs.

    The College of Social and Natural Sciences provides a strong liberal studies foundation for all undergraduate programs that prepares students for fulfilling and productive careers in the social and natural sciences.

    Courses are taught by highly educated faculty with advanced expertise in their fields who provide innovative theory and application throughout their course delivery. The College continues to encourage and support faculty in teaching, advising, scholarship and creative activity.

    Students and faculty within the College of Social and Natural Sciences have access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology for creative investigation, advanced research projects and overall academic excellence.

    The College strongly supports scientific research projects, which involve faculty/student collaboration. The College is also proud to provide service and education outreach to the community and surrounding region.

    The College will continue to develop and support comprehensive majors and programs that are of the highest quality education.

    Brian Wisenden and biosciences alums had paper accepted for publication

    Brian Wisenden, biosciences, had a paper accepted for publication in the “Journal of Animal Ecology” this week. The paper’s first author is MSUM biosciences (EEB) alum Tony Stumbo who just finished his MSc at Lethbridge University, Alberta.     Steve Lindaas attended project meeting at American Chemical Society
