Welcome to our New MSUM Employees!

Jerry Cook began work as an ITS 3 part time in Financial Aid and Enrollment Management on September 8. Jerry came to us from MSU Mankato where he did similar work. Jerry is married to Diane Solinger (in MSUM Student Affairs), and they have two children, ages 12 and 7.		Derrick "Sam" Groff was hired as an ITS 4 in Information Technology on August 18. He comes to us from S&L Computer Services, with a vast background in network management. Derrick prefers to be called "Sam," a nickname given him by his uncle at the age of 6 months. Sam and his wife have lived in Fargo for the past 17 years. They have a daughter, 20, and a son, 19. Sam's primary hobby for the last few years has been remodeling his home.

Brian Klinnert began work at MSUM as a night Campus Security Officer in Campus Security on August 20. He received his BA in Criminial Justice from MSUM in 2007, and is also a graduate of Alexandria Technical College's Law Enforcement Skills Program.. As a MSUM student, Brian worked in Information Technology and in Campus Security. Brian is engaged. His parents and brother also live in the F-M area. Brian's hobbies include computers, history, science, and cooking.		Tiffany Nyhus was hired as a Seasonal GMW in Building Services on August 12. She began as a temporary employee at MSUM, and now works the 3:00 AM - 11:30 PM shift. Tiffany grew up in Moorhead, and is the daughter of Don and Teri Nyhus, who also work at MSUM.

Norman Si Fuentes has accepted the part-time GMW position in Housing. He has been a temporary employee at MSUM this summer, and accepted this permanent position on September 2. Before coming to MSUM, Norman owned his own business. Norman lives in Dilworth, has a 7-year-old son, and enjoys basketball, swimming, and cooking outdoors in the summer.
